| Why: | The Granite State 10 Miler was conceived to fill a gap in the New Hampshire road racing circuit. There are few races of this distance and none in the capital area. And so a group of dedicated GSRT members proceeded with a mission to put on a 10 mile race that runners will love and will benefit a local organization whose mission has a far-reaching and positive impact on the community. We have a beautiful course, a great start/finish location, and excellent post-race food and celebration. |

| Beneficiaries: | Proceeds from the race will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Concord. Also, four dollars per registrant will be donated to the NHTI Cross Country program in exchange for the use of the NHTI facilities. |
